Scandinavian Aircraft Maintenance Co.,Ltd. (SAMTHAI) was established in April 2009 as a subsidiary to Scandinavian Aircraft Maintenance AS (SAM).
The company was initially set up to provide Engineering, Supervision, Quality Assurance, Spare parts support and Training to the aircraft industry in Thailand and Asia.

SAMTHAI has entered into a joint venture with Thai Aviation Industries, the main task for the partnership being planning, developing, building and running of an Aviation MRO & Centre of Excellence in the Bangkok area.
SAMTHAI has also signed an agreement with DAE to support & supply the Thai Royal Flight, Royal Thai Air Force, Royal Thai Army and Thai Police with spare parts for numerous aircraft & helicopter types through AAG Canada.
SAMTHAI are also cooperating with Geven to supply and install new seating for Thai International Airways aircraft.
SAMTHAI’s Head office is located in Bangkok close to Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
