New Customer!

SAM signed an agreement on the 12th of February 2010 with Thai Airways International to supply full Line Maintenance support including CRS for their A340-5/600 & B777-200 aircraft at Oslo Gardermoen Airport, commencing on the 13th of April 2010.

SAM signed an agreement on the 15th of March 2010 with Jet Time to supply full Line Maintenance support including CRS for their B737-300 aircraft at Oslo Gardermoen Airport, commencing on 17th May 2010.




101st IATP Conference in Bangkok Thailand

SAM takes a giant leap into the big league by participating and sponsoring the 101st IATP Conference in Bangkok, Thailand. Representing SAM at the IATP in Bangkok was:

• Director Line Maintenance & Sales: Mr. Stewart Ewing
• VP Sales & Marketing (SAMTHAI): Mr. Thananant Suvarnakart

SAM’s participation was a great success and a sign of things to come.




New Customer!

SAM has signed an agreement with Air Berlin to supply full Line Maintenance support including CRS & Night stop checks for their B737NG & A320 aircraft at Oslo Gardermoen Airport, commencing on 28th March 2010.




Training Update!

Five engineers from SAM participated on a three day Panasonic 3000 IFE course, at Thai Airways technical training centre in Bangkok 15-17th of March 2010. This was followed by TG papers & procedures training ahead of the impending contract handover at OSL on the 13th of April 2010.




Training Update!

SAM will be running a full B777-2/300 (GE90/RR Trent 800) - B1 type course (12-14 students) at OSL, commencing 6th of April 2010. This is in line with SAM’s ongoing commitment to its customers Pakistan International Airways and Thai Airways International.

SAM are sending six engineers to Nairobi in Kenya, to participate in a full A330-2/300 (RR Trent 700/PW4000/GE CF6) - B1 type course followed by the A340-2/3/5/600 (CFM56/RR Trent 500) - B1 type differences course, commencing 29th of March 2010.

New Line Station!

SAM are aiming to open a new line station at Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) on the 1st June 2010*, our new line station at ARN will have the following initial capabilities: A320 (CFM56/IAE V2500), A330 (RR Trent 700/PW4000), A340 (CFM56/RR Trent 500), B737-3/4/5/6/7/8/900 (CFM56), B747-400 (PW4000/GE CF6-80). We will be located in offices and stores at the heart of the airport in T5.
