The company was initially set up to provide both line and base maintenance assistance to the helicopter market, as well as boroscope, NDT, engineering and structural services.
Today SAM have expanded their services to cover both the helicopter and fixed wing market including commercial airliners, holding the following ratings for both line and base maintenance: A1/A3/B1.
SAM today employs around 30 B1/B2 engineers, with our lean operations concept we have very little overhead and a short chain of command allowing us the flexibility to adapt fast to market needs.
On the 19th of June 2009 SAM started providing commercial aircraft line maintenance at OSL, our launch customer was Swiss Int'l Airlines.
 What about the future?
The Roman poet Virgil once wrote “Audaces fortuna iuvat” which translated from Latin means “Fortune favours the brave”, this is our motto which is particularly relevant in these difficult times.
Our vision is to become the number one 3rd party line maintenance provider at OSL, the long-term business plan also includes opening a number of line maintenance locations in Scandinavia, Europe, Middle East & Asia.
We are also aiming to establish an MRO Centre of Excellence in Thailand by the end of 2012.
SAM business philosophy is and has always been to provide a personal & friendly maintenance service to the highest standards coupled with highly competitive rates.
